A pair of ex-Playboy twins have shared the grim reality of life with Hugh Hefner - which includes his unsettling bedtime routine.

Karissa and Kristina Shannon lived in the Playboy mansion in Holmby Hills, Los Angeles, for two years, after being recruited to live with the tycoon when he saw pictures of a glamour shoot they had done.

Karissa and Kristina were flown from Florida to LA, moving in with Hefner and his girlfriends - including Kendra Wilkinson - and being given $one,000 a calendar week to star on the hitting reality show Girls Next Door, which documented the lives of the women living in the $100 1000000 mansion.

But they've spoken out almost the declared corruption they suffered while with Hefner, and told the Daily Mirror it was worlds away from what they originally thought they would be signing upwards to.

Karissa said they were told the drugs - including weed and quaaludes - would help them feel more comfortable.

"He pulled out silk pyjamas from Italy and we put them on. He pulled out this large pill like the blazon a equus caballus would take. It was quaalude, which we institute out he used all the time," Kristina said of their offset feel in the tycoon'due south sleeping room.

Silenced by their shame, the twins continued living at the mansion, and took office in sex sessions with Hefner and other women about nights.

"Hef would have six or seven girls to his room around midnight. Hef would be at the centre of the bed on his back. He had this big mirror on the ceiling," Kristina said.

"Afterwards we were disgusted and would scrub our bodies using hot, hot water and soap until we were blood-red," she added.

The twins left the mansion in 2010, and claimed that the holding was bugged with "cameras and listening devices everywhere".
